Kristina reached out to have some custom notecards and envelopes created. In the end we narrowed down the fonts she liked to two choices but she was still torn so I printed half her order with one and half with the other. Problem solved!
The pineapple has been a symbol of hospitality since the days of the early American colonies. Sea captains who sailed among the Caribbean Islands and returned to the colonies with their cargo of fruits, spices and rum would spear a pineapple on a fence post outside his home to let his friends know of his safe return home. As well as to signal an invitation for them to visit, share his food and drink, and listen to tales of his voyage.
The pineapple became a symbol of the presence of hospitality and friendship. And the motif can still be seen today in architecture and signs and now stationery! I've created notecards in both gold and blind debossed finishes as well as a mini.. Check out them out!
Yesterday N'Gina & Stephen tied the knot in Kingston, Jamaica. Here is the quick peek at the inspiration board I pulled together for their invitations and the simple and sophisticated final result. Congrats to the newlyweds!
Shortly after Lauren ordered personal stationery for a friend she placed an order for some for herself. She chose to use a two-tone grey combination in the Rockwell hand-set type.
My Dad just turned 60! My sisters and I planned a surprise party to celebrate the milestone. Step one of any great party in a great invitation. We weren't having a theme for the party but I decided on a nautical theme for the invites since my dad has always loved the sea and sailing. Blue, red & a blind de-boss made it a 3 step process but it was totally worth it!
Keri and Khalil are having a destination wedding next year and so wanted to get an early jump on sending out their save the dates to give their guests ample time to make preparations. Keri had a very distinct idea for what she wanted - something simple with a handwritten font for their names. She opted for a light grey ink to create an almost shadow effect as her color palette for the big day is still not locked down. We also printed on 220lb paper so they definitely have a luxurious feel.
I don't know why it took me so long to create cards for new parents as I've been in need of them to send to so many friends recently. I have more designs in mind but for now here are 2 available options - Oh Baby, Oh Baby and Congrats Congrats for a girl or boy. Now available in store!
I created these notecards for my dear friend Lauren within the timeframe of my moving madness so I overlooked featuring them.. but you know what they say, better late than never!
I created these "Words of Wisdom" cards to be used at a Bridal shower for guests to jot down snippets of advice and tidbits of knowledge for the soon to be husband and wife. Such a cute keepsake that the couple can hold onto for years to come.
